Bible Verses

Please read through these verses from the Bible and chose one of them for your baptism.

Know that I am with you and will keep you wherever you go (Genesis 28,15)

I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you (Jeremiah 31,3)

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life” (John 14,6)

The risen Christ said to his disciples: “Remember I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28,20)

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God (Matthew 5,8)

Do not be afraid for I am with you (Isaiah 43,5)

Do not be afraid for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are mine (Isaiah 43,1)

I trust in you O Lord, You are my God, my times are in Your hand (Psalm 31,14)

For with you is the fountain of life, in your light we see light (Ps 36,9)

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom then shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom then shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27,1)

The Lord will fulfil his purpose for me, your steadfast love; O Lord endures for ever (Psalm 138,8)

You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living (Psalm 142,6)

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name O most high (Psalm 92,2)

Be to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me (Psalm 71,3)

Search me, O God and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts (Psalm 139,23)

Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your judgements are like the great deep (Psalm36, 6)

The Lord is near to the broken-hearted, and he saves the crushed in spirit (Psalm 34,18)

Make me to know your ways O Lord, teach me your paths (Ps 25,4)

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want (Psalm 23,1)

For in you my soul takes refuge, in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge (Psalm 57,1)

Into your hand O Lord I commit my spirit; you have redeemed me O Lord, faithful God (Psalm 31,5)

I trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation (Psalm 13,5)

You show me the path of life, in your presence there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16,11)

By my God I can leap over walls (Psalm 18,29)

I fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff they give me courage (Psalm 23,4)

Be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord (Psalm 27,14)

Faith, hope and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13,13)

Nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8,39)
