THE WOOLWICH AREA LAY CONFERENCE: The Woolwich Area Lay Conference, will be taking place on Saturday 2nd February 2019, at Ark All Saints Academy in Camberwell, 10.00am-4.00pm. Lunch is also provided.
The conference is aimed at encouraging and equipping lay people to grow in confidence in their faith as witnesses to Jesus Christ. Keynote speakers will be Rachel Jordan, Director of Evangelism at Church House, and the Rt Revd Dr Karowei Dorgu, Bishop of Woolwich.
This is a wonderful opportunity for those who are already in Lay Ministry, those just starting out, or anyone who is a key influencer or decision maker in any situation. There will be various workshops including ‘Being a Christian in a secular workplace,’ ‘Sharing our faith through social media’ and ‘Working with teenagers.’ Anyone who would like to attend, please contact Jules Soanes (email@example.com) or the Vicar (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more details and to register.
