Out and About Club 4th Anniversary Lunch 7 July
We will be celebrating our 4th anniversary with a 3-course lunch at the Fox Inn, a gastropub in Keston Village, travelling by coach from St. Stephen’s after the main Sunday service on 7th July. The cost will be £20 per adult, £6.50 per child (4-10yrs). Deposits of £10 (£5 for children) will be payable on Sunday 16 June and the balance on June 30. Hymns and Sandwiches – Sunday 23rd June 11.30am till 2.00pm in the church. This will be a relaxed social occasion for all the family, singers and non-singers welcome. Bring a picnic lunch (special nibbles will be provided and drinks will be on offer too for the usual donations). Please choose your favourite hymn or two and sign up on the board at the back of the church so we know what to sing! We hope you will join us.
Our new curate (Revd) Tomos Reed will be ordained Deacon at Southwark cathedral on Saturday 29 June. He will be at all our services for the first time on Sunday 30 June and there will be a special service of Choral Evensong at 6.00pm at which Tomos will preside.
We have been approached by a future Masters music student (Violin) of Trinity College of Music to see whether they might be able to rent a room from next term (1 September onwards). Anyone wishing to offer a room please contact Mrs Beate Wilmshurst (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We are currently advertising for a Sunday School co-ordinator and youth worker (eight paid hours per week), if you are interested in finding out more please speak to the Vicar.
