How much does it cost to hire the hall?
£60 per hour
When is the Hall available for hire?
Saturdays & Sundays after 1.30pm
How do I go about booking?
Please fill in the contact form. You can also telephone the church office, but only on Wednesdays between 9am and 1pm on 020 8766 7281
Do you hire the halls out to regular users?
The hall is available from 1.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. The only free afternoon during the week is a Friday and school holidays.
How many people can be accommodated?
The maximum number of children for parties is 30, plus their carers. this is dictated by the size of the Hall.
What about tables and chairs?
Child sized tables and chairs are included in the hire cost. The tables and chairs that are already in the hall need to be returned to their original position after hire. An additional 70 chairs and 10 tables can be borrowed from the church at extra cost.
Are there any events you do not allow?
Other than church events, we do not allow any teenage parties, or bookings by people aged under 21. We reserve the right to refuse bookings that conflict with the ethos of the church, may cause nuisance to our neighbours or disturb other hall users.
Do I need to provide a deposit?
No, but failure to leave the hall according to the terms and conditions that you signed will result in an extra payment.
When do I pay the hall hire fee?
Payment is due one month before your event , to the parish office.
What about parking?
There is some limited parking associated with church and hall
Can I use any outdoor space?
There is a small walled play area.
Can I have candles?
Only small tea candles for the cake are allowed.
Can I have a disco?
We do not have any equipment for this purpose but you may bring your own. The hall is in a residential area and noise must be kept to a reasonable level.
Can I put up decorations?
Nothing may be stuck to the walls or doors.
Do you provide a caterer?
No. Hirers must ensure that any caterers they employ comply with our terms and conditions of hire and specifically leave the kitchen and equipment in a clean and tidy condition and take all rubbish with them.
Can I leave rubbish?
No. All rubbish must be taken with you at the end of the hire. Failure to do so may result in an extra charge.
Is there a kitchen and how is it equipped?
There is a 4 hob cooker and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and a sink with hot water.
Is there any crockery and cutlery?
What happens about cleaning?
Hirers are responsible for leaving the hall, kitchen and toilets in a clean, tidy condition, taking all rubbish home immediately after the event has ended. Mop, bucket, brooms etc are provided and some cleaning materials but it may be advisable to supplement these with your own and to bring tea towels and bin bags.
The hall and associated premises must be left in the state that they were in before the hire.
How is access arranged on the day?
You will be met by the person responsible for opening the hall at the beginning of your hire period, this person will also check you out at the end of your hire period. You must not leave the hall before you have been officially checked out.
