Deanery Confirmation Service

This year’s Deanery Confirmation service will  be held on 20 September at 5pm in Herne Hill Parish.  If you are interested in finding out more  about confirmation please speak to the Vicar or email him.  He would be delighted to answer any questions.  Confirmation preparation sessions will begin later this summer.
For this confirmation service (20 September, 5pm) St Paul’s Herne Hill are  hoping to have a Deanery Choir led by Noël Tredinnick, their Music leader. If interested: they are rehearsing on Thursday 17th September 8pm at St Paul’s and then on the 20th at 3.45pm. Please let our Vicar (Bernhard) know if you wish to participate.

BODY, MIND and VOICE  Workshop – Sunday September 20th 2026, 2.00 – 5.00pm – A Total Approach to Singing.

Breath is not only our vital life force; it is the life behind singing and performing. Singing is, and should be as natural as laughing, crying, and speaking. It is an emotional response and as such comes from the heart and gut.  Come along to this workshop to discover how to achieve it. All levels welcome. For information or to book a place please contact Caroline Lenton-Ward on 07850063663 or clw@clara.co.uk

Haydn’s The Creation

Saturday 10 October at 6pm, our very own South Dulwich Chorus performs Haydn’s resplendent oratorio The Creation, with soloists and orchestra. Haydn’s music ascends from darkness and chaos into light and order, displaying wonder and awe along the way. Singers and audience are warmly invited to join us.

Pick up a flyer or visit southdulwichchorus.com for details.
