HARVEST FESTIVAL at the 10.00am service on 4 October.  We will be taking all our gifts to PECAN, one of our local foodbanks; please bring the usual non-pershables.

The always popular International Bring & Share Lunch will also be on Sunday 4 October to celebrate Harvest Festival. Please sign the list at the back of the church if you are coming and can bring something.

Out & About Club theatre outing to see ‘High Society’ at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley will be on Tuesday 6 October at 7.30pm. This is a chance to see a top-class West End show (previously at the Barbican Theatre) at a local venue.  Tickets will cost £54.40 per person, but there will be some discounted tickets for people in need – please see Temple. Forms are available now for signing up, and let us know if you have a Blue Badge or are registered disabled as this will allow a companion ticket. Free coach travel to and from Bromley will be provided.

Saturday 26 September 7.30pm: Concert by St Stephen’s Consort, including Spirituals and works by Byrd, Victoria, Holst, Parry, Poulenc, Aznavour and Nicholas Ansdell-Evans, who conducts.

CCJ meeting on 29 September at 7.45pm – Towards Better Disagreement 

What happens when representative bodies of different religious communities within CCJ clash over matters of politics or principle?  How can those bodies manage their own internal conflicts and what needs to be done to restore good inter-communal relations and trust? Join a discussion using the recent Kairos II document as a test. Speakers include a Laity member of the General Synod of the Church of England and a senior Leader of the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
