Public worship at St Stephen’s
All our services are open to congregations attending in person. Many of our services are also live-streamed.

The church is open on Tuesdays to Fridays from 7.30am to 12noon, on Saturdays from 10am to 12noon and on Sundays from 7.30am to 1pm
Regular Services –
Sundays
8am Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer 1662)
A peaceful and reflective service, lasting about 40 minutes, with a brief sermon.
10am Parish Eucharist
Our main service of the week, lasting about an hour and followed by tea and coffee. During term time the Choir leads the music. Also in term time there is a Sunday School called Footsteps for children.
Wednesdays
9.45am Holy Eucharist
A brief and more informal service, lasting 20-30 minutes, with a short sermon.
Tuesdays to Fridays
8.30am Silent Prayer followed by 8.45am Morning Prayer
We try to open the Church by 8.30 on weekday mornings for silent prayer and reflection followed by a brief (15-minute) service of Morning Prayer
